According to a survey conducted among residents of various cities worldwide in 2023 on how often they went to Korean restaurants, respondents living in Southeast Asia went to restaurants serving Korean cuisine the most at an annual average visit frequency of 26.5 times. Respondents from Northeast Asia followed at an average of close to 21 times per year, whereas those surveyed in Europe went to Korean restaurant on average close to only 15 times a year.

* In total this survey questioned 9,000 respondents in multiple cities. Surveyed cities included Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, Taipei, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Sydney, Ho Chi Minh City, Mexico City, New York City, LA, Toronto, Paris, London, Rome, São Paulo, and Dubai.
