In the United States, 21-year-old's in 2021 were found less likely than 21-year-old's in 1980 to reach major life milestones, such as moving out of the family home or getting married. While 64 percent of 21-year-old's in 1980 were working full-time jobs, only 39 percent of 21-year-old's in 2021 shared this trait.
