Deposits outstanding at Shinkin banks 2015-2023
As of March 2022, outstanding deposits at Shinkin banks in Japan amounted to 160.2 trillion Japanese yen. Shinkin banks are cooperative regional financial institutions regulated under the Shinkin Bank Act that offer their services to local small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals. As of 2023, there were around 254 Shinkin banks across Japan.
