Health spending in Haiti as share of GDP 2010-2021
In 2021, spending on health represented three percent of Haiti's gross domestic product (GDP), down from four percent in 2019. Overall, healthcare spending in the Caribbean country showed a decreasing trend during the period depicted. In comparison, that year Cuba's healthcare spending corresponded to 14 percent of its GDP, the highest value reported among Latin American and Caribbean countries.
