Worldwide, consumers spend the most money on online purchases made through desktops. Between January and December 2023, the average order value from desktop purchases peaked in May 2023. Shoppers spent an average of 142 U.S. dollars on online orders that month. The amount spent on purchases made via mobile devices and tablets was roughly the same.
