average salary of a person working in healthcare has increased by around 50 percent since 2017.
Psychiatry and mental health
The number of people seeking mental health professionals increased in Czechia. More
patients have been treated in outpatient psychiatric departments every year except for 2020, most likely due to the COVID-19-related lockdowns. In 2021, neurotic, stress, and somatoform disorders were the most
common conditions diagnosed in psychiatric departments. Women constituted the
majority of patients. This conforms to certain gender stereotypes, as it was proven that men are
