In 2023, Brazilian state-owned oil company Petrobras was the leading oil and gas company in Latin America, based on annual sales, with almost 102.4 billion U.S. dollars worth of revenue that year. Mexico's Pemex closely followed, with 101.6 billion U.S. dollars of sales revenue that year.
