This statistic shows the level of support for extracting shale gas by "fracking" in Great Britain according to the results of a YouGov survey from July 2018. Of those surveyed, the age bracket which felt most strongly that Britain should not extract shale gas were those aged 50 to 64 years old. Just 22 percent of 18 to 24 year old believed Britain should extract shale gas using fracking.
