Natural gas prices for industry in the U.S. 2021-2022, by state

The prices of natural gas for industry in all U.S. states for which there was data in 2022 increased from 2021 to 2022. The state with highest price of natural gas for industry in 2022 was Hawaii, standing at 34.62 U.S. dollars per thousand cubic feet. This was also Hawaii's all time high price compared to previous years. During the same year, West Virginia had the lowest industrial natural gas price in the country, at 6.03 U.S. dollars per thousand cubic feet.

Meanwhile, the average natural gas price for industry in the U.S. stood at 7.9 U.S. dollars per thousand cubic feet in 2022.
