U.S. student distance learning enrollment 2021, by institution
In 2021, 62.8 percent of students from public higher education institutions were enrolled in distance learning in the United States. Across all types of postsecondary institutions, 60.1 percent of students were enrolled in distance learning courses. This high level of distance learning enrollment is due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
