Revenue of Tony's Chocolonely 2021/2022, by region

60.3 million euros, or roughly 45 percent, of the revenue of confectionery company Tony's Chocolonely came from its home market: the Netherlands. The company recorded sales, however, in many other countries. The second-largest market for Tony's Chocolonely, the United Kingdom, had a revenue worth roughly 24 million euros. Overall, the chocolate brand reached a net revenue of roughly 133 million euros in 2021/2022.

 Selling chocolate bars around the world  

  Tony's Chocolonely’s increasing popularity is clearly visible in the sales figures. In the last six years, the number of bars sold worldwide more than doubled. Between October 2015 and September 2016, the brand sold just under 20 million bars. Four years later, this had increased to over 46 million bars.

 Trouble in paradise? 

  Despite selling an ever-larger number of chocolate bars, not all is well for Tony's Chocolonely. After six years of net profits, in 2020/2021 the chocolate brand reported a net loss of more than 4.6 million euros. One year later, the company again reported a small net profit.
