Transaction price for the purchase of new housing units Southern European cities 2023
The average transactional cost per square meter of a new dwelling in selected Southern European cities varied greatly. Barcelona was the most expensive of these cities to buy a new dwelling, with one square meter of internal space costing about 6,937 euros on average. Paris and Munich were the most expensive cities in Western and Northern Europe respectively, costing more than 10,000 euros per square meter to buy a new dwelling.
