The cancellation rate of scheduled flights in Brazil has been on a continual decrease in recent years. In 2019, less than two percent of all international and domestic scheduled flights in the country were cancelled, down from over 12 percent in 2015. That latter year, more than 950 thousand flights departed from Brazil.
