In 2019, around 951 thousand flights were completed in Brazil, down from 967 thousand flights a year earlier. Nearly 85 percent of flights in the South American country were domestic. The number of flights in Brazil reached the peak of the decade in 2012, with over 1.1 thousand trips completed.
