Oil production in Colombia amounted to 777 thousand barrels per day in 2023. In comparison to the previous year, this represented an increase of around three percent. Despite this decline, the country is amongst the largest oil producing countries in Latin America, ranking only behind some of the region's oil giants, like Brazil and Mexico.
