Loyalty driven vs. shopping driven purchases in the UK 2017, by category
This statistic shows the share of purchases that are loyalty driven in comparison to those that are shopping driven across selected retail categories in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2017. Across all the categories in the selected list, product purchases are predominately shopping driven. For cereal products, only one-third of consumers make the same brand choices from one purchase to the next, while two-thirds shop around.
