Italy: bank customers distribution 2017, by bank type
This statistic depicts the results of a survey conducted in Italy during November 2017 when individuals with a bank account were asked to indicate the type of bank they were current customers of. According to the survey results, 41 percent of Italians were customers of in-branch banks, while 45 percent of the respondents declared to be clients of both traditional in-branch banks and online banks. Only 14 percent of the respondents chose an online bank as their sole banking services provider.
