The statistic shows the leading countries of provenance of tourists going to Italy on holiday in 2015. As of the survey period, the greatest number of tourists going on holiday in Italy came from Germany: about 13.6 percent. On the other hand, about 3.2 percent of the foreign tourists spending their holiday abroad in Italy came from the United Kingdom.
