The total global value of payments reached a new all-time high in 2023, with nearly half of all payments coming from Asia-Pacific. However, the source adds that the growth in APAC was lower than other parts of the world. North America, Latin America, and EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) saw their revenue increase by more than seven percent of CAGR between 2018 and 2023. Asia-Pacific recorded a CAGR of four percent during the same time. The source adds that Brazil, India, Japan, and the United States were the countries with the highest increase in payments revenue.
