This statistic displays the results of a survey among women in Germany regarding the most wanted precious stones for engagement rings in 2013. During the survey period, it was found that the most desired engagement ring stone was a diamond, this being true for 50 percent of respondents. A cubic zirconia ring was the second most popular wish, with 12 percent or respondents stating this, followed by 5 percent of respondents wanting an aquamarin engagement ring.
