The statistic shows the opinion on the 5-percent minimum electoral threshold in 2017 in Italy. The electoral threshold is the minimum share of the primary vote which a candidate/political party requires to achieve before they become entitled to representation in a legislature. In other words, a party must receive a specified minimum percentage of votes, for example 5 percent.
According to the survey, the biggest majority of respondents (92 percent) agreed on setting a 5-percent minimum electoral threshold.
