Ferrero: turnover 2011-2023

As of the financial year 2022/2023, the turnover of the international group Ferrero amounted to about 17 billion euros. The Italian confectionery manufacturer Ferrero was founded in Alba, Piedmont, and produces a wide range of confectionery goods under various brand names. Ferrero is the third-largest confectionary company in the world (by net sales).

Footprint

The confectionery company produces a bit less than 550,000 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent greenhouse gases. The company successfully reduced its scope 1 and 2 emissions by about 60,000 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent from 2017/18 levels. Scope 1 emissions, meaning emissions that occur from sources directly controlled and owned by Ferrero, account for 88.6 percent of these emissions.
