This statistic displays the results of a survey on the share of government entities using Facebook in Italy from 2014 to 2015. During the survey period, it was found that 70 percent of the government entities administrating Italian regions used Facebook, while only 50 percent of the national authorities reported to use it. As it can be seen, only metropolitan cities reported to use the popular free social network.
