Bread sales in the Netherlands in 2019, by purchase channel

As of May 2019, the vast majority of consumers surveyed in the Netherlands indicated that they purchased bread in the supermarket. Over 80 percent of survey respondents indicated that they purchased bread at supermarkets, while the share of respondents who bought bread from markets was significantly lower, at just ten percent.
