Museum visits in England by month 2024

In March 2024, the number of visits to museums and galleries sponsored by the UK government's Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) increased compared to the previous year. That said, it remained below the figure from March 2019, recorded before the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Overall, attendance at DCMS-sponsored museums reached approximately 3.5 million in March 2024.
