Germany had a cumulative solar photovoltaic capacity of around 82.2 gigawatts as of 2023. During the period in consideration, Germany's solar PV capacity increased by 39.8 gigawatts. Germany added an additional capacity of over three gigawatts to its solar PV network in 2023.
