Cord-cutting penetration in the U.S. 2013-2024

As of the second quarter of 2024, 6.9 percent of U.S. households cut the cord. This was the highest decline rate in pay TV subscriber growth in the last decade. The number of pay TV subscriptions is likely to further drop in the near future as more and more people opt for streaming services.
