Overseas revenue of video games developed in China 2014-2024
Chinese self-developed video games have experienced stagnant growth in international markets. In 2024, the overseas sales revenue dropped again to 18.6 billion U.S. dollars. Apart from the mature gaming markets, such as the United States, Japan, South Korea, and Europe, Chinese video game developers and publishers have been trying to tap into the new gaming markets in the Middle East, India, Russia, and Brazil.
