The Kellanova Company

The Kellanova Company, which is based in Battle Creek, Michigan, is a multi-national food company with an emphasis on cereal. The company was founded by Will Keith Kellogg as the Battle Creek Toasted Corn Flake Company in 1906 and today manufactures breakfast and convenience products such as cereals, cookies, crackers, toaster pastries, cereal bars, frozen waffles and fruit-flavored snacks. The company’s first product was Kellogg’s Toasted Corn Flakes and became its flagship product. After several product and packaging makeovers over the years, the all-time favorite cereal is marketed under the brand Kellogg’s Corn Flakes throughout numerous markets worldwide today.

Furthermore, Kellanova’s brand portfolio also includes Nutri-Grain, Froot Loops and Frosted Flakes. In order to expand its offerings outside of the breakfast realm, Kellanova acquired several other brands such as Keebler, Morningstar Farms, Cheez-It, and Pringles; helping it compete amongst the leading cracker and snack food firms and making it the second largest producer of cookies, crackers and savory snacks in 2014.
