The average income earned through single ticket sales of not-for-profit professional theaters in the United States grew significantly in 2022 compared to the previous year. Despite the sharp annual increase, the average single ticket's income did not catch up with the figures recorded before the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, amounting to roughly 534 thousand in 2022.
