Leading SWFs in Africa 2024, by AUM

As of 2024, the region of Africa was home to several leading Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs). Algeria hosted the third-largest level of Assets Under Management (AUM) through the RRF. Ethiopia ranked second, having managed 46 billion U.S. dollars in AUM through the EIH fund. Libya ranked in the top spot, having 68 billion U.S. dollars in AUM through the LIA.
