As of February 2023, Asian sovereign wealth funds (SWFs) managed assets worth over 4.95 trillion U.S. dollars, which was higher than in any other region. Funds located in the Middle East and North Africa followed, with assets under management worth roughly 4.14 trillion U.S. dollars.
