In the first seven months of 2024, six of the 10 most popular Douyin influencers among brands came from the humor category. Jiang Shiqi was the most successful KOL (key opinion leader) in the Chinese short video platform with over 30 million yuan in ad revenue collaborating with brands. Additionally, three KOLs specializing in automobile topics snagged considerable deals from advertisers.
