According to the source, the marketing spending was based on a comprehensive analysis of various influencer content from photo posts to Instagram Reels and video posts. More than 5,000 domestic and international brands from 22 different industries in Hong Kong were monitored, and at least 30,000 influencers and content creators on Instagram and Facebook, were included in the analysis. As a reference to determine influencer fees, the source collected a list of rate cards from influencers with a balance of tier levels. Production costs or advertising expenses related to the campaigns were excluded, which means the calculation might differ from the actual cost, i.e. influencer quotation.
