During a 2024 survey among marketing executives worldwide, approximately 55 percent of respondents said managing the design of a brand's website and/or app was a responsibility of their marketing team. Around one-third (33 percent) stated marketing teams manage customer satisfaction measurement. Meanwhile, only 16 percent of participants said such teams managed pricing and payment strategies, while 29 percent stated marketing teams had nothing to do with it.
