The demand for large concerts is prominent across China, not only in the more developed cities, but also in the rural areas. In 2023, tier-5 cities in the country registered an over six fold climb in large concert ticket sales revenue compared to that in 2019 — the steepest growth rate compared to other regions. Guangdong, Shanghai, and Beijing remained the largest revenue contributors in big concerts.
