According to a survey conducted in 2024, Americans were most likely to say that the Civil Rights and Gay Rights movements were successful in achieving their stated goals in the United States, at 62 percent and 56 percent of respondents respectively. In contrast, the Occupy Wall Street movement, the Alcohol Prohibition movement, and the Pro-Palestinian movement were the least likely movements to be seen as successful by Americans in that year.
