Male consumers in China are more willing to invest time in video games than their female counterparts. Survey results in 2023 found that over 57 percent of female video game users spent less than 30 minutes per day on such entertainment, whereas about 44 percent of male respondents indicated a minimum one-hour daily gaming time. A non-trivial 11 percent of men even committed more than three hours.
