Among the mobile apps with over 100 million active users (MAUs) in April 2024, Moji Weather was the biggest winner, witnessing 37.2 percent year-over-year growth in MAUs to 161.3 million users. User acquisition becomes slower for mega apps like WeChat, Alipay, and Douyin, which still managed to increase by almost two percent compared to April 2023.
