As of March 2024, a total of 55 percent of adults in the United States considered it either somewhat or very necessary for K-12 students to learn AI-related skills for their future careers. Conversely, 24 percent of adults believed that learning AI-related skills was not very necessary or not at all necessary, while 21 percent of respondents were unsure.
