As of 2024, over 88.9 percent of Nestlé's cocoa was sourced through the Nestlé Cocoa Plan. Among other goals, the Nestlé Cocoa Plan aims to reduce the risk of child labor on plantations that supply the company with cocoa. Monitoring of children and the provision of school kits are among the measures taken. Furthermore, it intends to improve yields and livelihoods of farmers by providing farmers with training in agricultural practices.
