During the first two rounds of the 2024 men's and women's NCAA Division I basketball tournament - known otherwise as March Madness - the team with the most social media impressions was Iowa's women's team, with nearly 30 million impressions. In the lead up to the 2024 edition of the tournament, Iowa's Caitlin Clark took the college basketball world by storm by becoming the all-time leading NCAA basketball points scorer in both the men's and women's game.
