A survey conducted in Indonesia in 2023 revealed that approximately 79 percent of Gen Z respondents stated that they had purchased an item or product from new brands because it had been endorsed by an influencer. The same survey revealed that almost half of Indonesian Gen Z respondents stated that a product or service would be more appealing if it were promoted on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
