According to a survey conducted in July 2024 by Rakuten Insight, on luxury brand awareness in South Korea, Chanel was the most-known luxury brand at around 82.5 percent of respondents answering that they know about it. Gucci followed at 79.51 percent of respondents knowing about the brand.
