According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in November 2023, about 71 percent of female respondents and 66.86 percent of male respondents answered that purchase their items by finding an item they wanted to buy and then purchasing it online. Deciding on an item and purchasing it in physical stores was also popular among both male and female respondents with more than 50 percent answering that way.
