In 2022, the number of Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) users in Vietnam recorded approximately 8.7 million people, reflecting an increase of nearly four million users compared to the year prior. Previously one of the most cash-dependent countries in Southeast Asia, Vietnam has seen substantial growth in cashless payment usage among its population in recent years.
