A survey conducted in 2024 revealed that almost a fifth of global shoppers used online marketplaces (e.g. Amazon, Tmall, Mercado Libre) for product search when it comes to alcoholic beverages, making this the preferred channel for pre-purchase browsing right after browsing in-store (30 percent).
