In 2022, the Mexican cuisine was the most popular cuisine across all age groups of respondents in the United States, except among respondents aged 55 or older, whose favorite cuisine was Italian. Moreover, approximately 17 percent of respondents between 18 and 24 stated that they prefer Japanese cuisine, while among those aged 55 or older, the share was only five percent.
