Mobile payment app usage frequency in Japan 2022

According to a survey conducted in November 2022, around 33 percent of consumers in Japan who owned contactless mobile payment apps used them at least once a week. 11.1 percent of the respondents reported using mobile payment apps on NFC-enabled devices four times per week or more.
