According to a survey conducted in 2022, 23 percent of Americans aged 18 to 29 years said that they have unfollowed, unfriended, or blocked someone online for posting religious content in the United States, the most out of all age groups. In comparison, only seven percent of Americans aged 65 and older said that they have ever unfollowed, unfriended, or blocked someone for posting religious content.
